Nanny / Family Work Agreement

We strongly suggest that every nanny complete a comprehensive nanny / family work agreement before she begins work.  This allows both parties to review and agree to the final details of the employment relationship and the expectations for the caregiving environment.  This small investment of time and energy will pay off time and time again.  Brawley & Associates offers our exclusive A to Z Nanny Contract and guarantees it to be the best of the business or your money back.

Performance Reviews

Every nanny, regardless of how wonderfully things are going, should ask for a performance review every 3 or 4 months during the first year and every 6 or12 months in subsequent years.  These reviews offer both employer and employee a built-in opportunity to address issues that that might not otherwise come up until they become real problems.  A detailed performance review outline gives the parent and the nanny the chance to highlight high performance areas and discuss areas that need improvement in both caregiving performance and the nanny / family relationship.  It also provides the nanny with a written record of job performance, something often needed when leaving the position.
